Anik Sarkar PT, MSc, HBSc, BAS


Anik graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2014. Before then, he received his Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. During his academic time, he took focused courses in Athletic Therapy, Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy, Reconditioning, and Evidence-Based Medicine. He continues to finish a third degree in Administrative Studies in order further improve skills in ethical and competent leadership.

Anik is an executive member with Sport Physiotherapy Canada -Ontario, and an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA). He is also credentialed as a Sport Physiotherapist - Certificate Member. He currently is a member within three divisions of the CPA:

The Orthopaedic Division of the CPA

The Private Practice Division of the CPA

The Sport Physiotherapy Division of the CPA via Sport Physiotherapy Canada (SPC)

He has worked and invited to participate as a host medical practitioner in a variety of international sporting events including: The Pan Am and Parapan Am Games 2015, the Canada Summer Games 2017, and the Invictus Games 2017.
